Metro Safety Training has been providing various life-saving first aid training programs accredited by the Canadian Red Cross Society in different areas of British Columbia.

17-Apr-2022: According to Canadian Law, all employers are legally obliged to provide life-saving first aid courses to their employees.

Since its inception in 2008, Metro Safety Training has been offering various first aid training programs to different organizations across British Columbia to help meet their safety standards. In 2019, 925 deaths were recorded at different workplaces in Canada (AWCBC). Metro Safety Training is committed to providing first aid training programs that will not only train employees to handle emergencies at work but also in public places.
“During an emergency, we are often put in a situation where we have to depend largely on our instincts. At Metro Safety Training, we help our clients develop basic life-saving skills and encourage them to stay calm so that they can be quick with their responses. We strongly believe that first aid training courses should be made mandatory in all organizations. We aim to work day and night until we have achieved our target of providing training in most offices and training at least one individual in each house to carry out first aid and CPR in an emergency,” a spokesperson at Metro Safety Training said.

Metro Safety Training offers different first aid training programs. Some of these training programs include occupational first aid, transportation endorsement, CPR, forklift training, fall protection training, confined space training as well as a traffic control person training. They also provide part-time training programs encouraging everyone to participate actively.

One of their representatives said, “We have received great responses for our training programs. Some of our participants have also informed us that after completing the course, they were successfully able to perform CPR on people in need”.

The different first aid training programs offered by Metro Safety have helped organizations manage their operational costs by controlling their medical expenses. Their courses have successfully managed to create the right skill set among the people helping them in saving lives wherever they go.
