Download UNICOWS.DLL and save it on the hard drive in the same folder as MSN Messenger.
Download the Messenger again.
Make sure that the proxy is not activated if you receive any further error message.
Select “Tools” from the menu bar and then go to “Options”.
Now select “Connection” and open “Advanced settings”.
Ensure that the “HTTP proxy” server remain empty.
