Bismarck, ND October 24, 2017 : The Rochester Historical Preservation Society (RHPS) on October 20 receives a wooden chest with ties to Abraham Lincoln. The chest belonging to Terry Campbell, a Missouri resident was a family heirloom made out of solid wood of a tree stump. The stump was the same place from where Abraham Lincoln delivered his first political speech in the city of Rochester.

The Society president has expressed his gratitude to the donator and hopes to have a museum one day to display such items of immense significance.
