Award-winning composer and pianist Wendy Loomis and well-known Bay Area poet and spoken word artist Royal Kent are facing the new reality of the music industry.

Their beat ensemble COPUS is now turning to the consumer, to get their upcoming album “COPUS to the World” financed through the crowdfunding-platform Kickstarter. And with 10% of the sales of “COPUS to the world” being donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, crowdfunding might evolve into the most fair economic model in history.
