Despite recent cultural and social changes which have diluted much of ancient Tibet, entering this country is very much like stepping into an entirely different world rich in culture and history.

Tibet is such a special place, which makes your travel there special too, including your equipment. Here are some tips for your Tibet tour package

Pack as small & light as feasible:

Pack as small and light as possible while making certain that you’ve had all your essentials packed. Typically, a backpack of below 45L is adequate. And 1 big backpack & 1 small backpack should be adequate for camping or trekking adventure.

Garments: the warmer the better:

Because of the low temperature & huge temperature dissimilarity between day & night in Tibet, woolen underwear and down jackets are essential. You must carry sweat-free underwear if you wish to trek in Tibet. It’d be a huge problem for you if there’re sweats on you, for sweats may soak up the heat on you, which can be very risky in the wild.

Trekking shoes are a must:

A good pair of warm, air-permeable and comfy hiking shoes is the most essential. And hard-slide high sneakers are highly recommended as well.

Don’t forget to carry water bottles:

Water in Tibet tends to be quite clean and pure and you can even intake them directly. However, in some areas over the highland, there is rarely any village or people and you may have nothing to meet your hunger sometimes, so add water bottle to your backpack.

Sunglasses: not just to feel cool:

Because of the high altitude & thin environment, the sun ray in Tibet tends to be pretty strong and the harsh UV rays may hurt your eyes easily. Hence, quality UV rays-proof sunglasses are something that you should have.

Sleeping bag: the finer, the better:

In the month of August, a duck down-filled sleeping bag weighing 1kg will bring enough warm for you. You should purchase one with a feather content of more than 80 percent & the size of it may be as large as a large coke bottle after being squeezed.
