Holding a flexible and chameleon like ability to adapt to the new clients, new challenges and changes in the legal and mental health paradigm, Mary Jo Rothecker has been associated with the Accendus Group since 2010. She has an LLB degree as well as an MBA and supplements her post-graduate education with courses from FDRIO, AFCC, and Riverdale Mediation. Mary Jo Rothecker has over 20 years experience assisting families with their financial issues as they transition through separation and divorce.

As a Parenting Coordinator, Mary Jo Rothecker is responsible for written and verbal communication with the court and with therapists, psychologists, hospital departments, medical doctors, police officers, the OCL, CAS, and other stakeholders in a family conflict. She is responsible for drafting and completion of Reports to the court to provide comprehensive summaries and assist in the resolution of high conflict family disputes.

While providing the reintegration services to the clients transitioning through separation and divorce, Mary Jo, working with the psychotherapist, completes the 6 to 8-week Intake or Triage process. The process involves meeting with each parent, and communication with necessary collateral sources. Overall, Mary Jo and the team determine the immediate needs of the child or children. She drafts the report to the Parents and Court which highlights the optimum options for family, time frames for each process, the approximate cost, the risks and probability of outcomes which are in the best interests of the children.

Mary Jo loves to read books including history, politics, biography, and fiction. She attends many AFCC conferences which combines her love of travel with her love for education.

While being associated with the Accendus Group, Mary Jo Rothecker serves as a family mediator where she works with spouses transitioning through separation and divorce including drafting parenting plans, organizing and reviewing financial disclosure, and calculating child and spousal support. In this process, she uses the Divorce Mate software for the calculation of child and spousal support and for Net Family Property calculations.
