White discharge from a woman's genitalia is referred as leucorrhea which sometimes is smelly and different in color. Discharge inside women's genitalia is considered as a sign of good health and is necessary for maintaining healthy acidic balance to counter infections and maintain flexibility and smoothness. The problem arises when this discharge becomes too profuse and cannot be controlled. Boil two tablespoon of rice in one and half liter of water, after rice is cooked drink the remaining water after adding a teaspoon of sugar, this is an effective diet to cure the problem. Soak one teaspoon of coriander seeds in a glass of water overnight and drink this mixture as first thing in the morning to effectively cure leucorrhea. Cut two hundred grams of ladyfinger in small pieces and boil them with one liter of water, keep this at a low flame and allow it to boil till water is reduced to half. Drink the water after adding one teaspoon of sugar to cure leucorrhea. Eat banana twice a day mixed with rose petals and crushed betel nut, other fruits like papaya, pomegranate and guava are also beneficial for alleviating leucorrhea.

Use more of turmeric powder while cooking and eat ginger and garlic as much as possible. Avoid spicy and greasy foods. Avoid using perfumes, deodorants and scented toilet paper close to genital area. Wear loose undergarments and allow genital area to dry completely after every bath before wearing undergarments.
