In the struggles that fill law school, it is important for people to have a distinct group on whom they can rely. Without close compatriots, law school would eat even the best students alive. Many individuals, including Martin Sweeney of Dallas, find that companionship and camaraderie in the structure of a fraternity.

Delta Theta Phi recently thanked Martin Sweeney of Dallas for his continual support as an alumnus. Martin Sweeney of Dallas has made a point of staying in touch with both his graduating class and the fraternity at large and has helped the fraternity organize programs to help new members do well as lawyers.

Martin Sweeney of Dallas was a member of Delta Theta Phi during his time at Cleveland State University and has continued to support the professional fraternity as an alumnus since his graduation and transition into the world of business.

For Martin Sweeney of Dallas, Delta Theta Phi was instrumental in his formation as a young lawyer. “The fraternity provided many advantages and resources during my time in law school,” explained Martin Sweeney of Dallas, “having the structure of the fraternity helped me format my days and learn to study efficiently around fraternity functions and chapter meetings.”

In addition to the logistical education that fraternity membership provided, the organization also boasted a wide range of advanced students in its ranks. These second and third year law students were available and happy to help new members learn the ropes of how to succeed in law school.

Martin Sweeney of Dallas benefitted greatly from this practice and the older members of the fraternity helped set Martin Sweeney of Dallas on a path to success. After their graduation, Martin Sweeney of Dallas kept in touch with these older members. These relationships allowed Martin Sweeney of Dallas to glimpse what professional life is like prior to entering the workforce himself.

One of the best things about being a member of a fraternity like Delta Theta Phi is the continued connections it gives members after graduation. Martin Sweeney of Dallas has made use of those connections and hopes to continue supporting the fraternity in coming years, even potentially recruiting graduates from the fraternity as new members for his team of lawyers.
