Highlights of Nithin Kantharaj’s Academic Project Based on Simple and Multiple Linear Regressions

This Press Release is written to inform the readers about Nithin Kantharaj’s academic project based on simple and multiple linear regressions.

 
Currently associated as a product manager/project manager with a leading medical technology company in Flanders, New Jersey, Nithin Kantharaj is a well-educated professional who has received his higher education from The University of Texas at Arlington and PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore.

Before he started his career, Nithin Kantharaj worked on a number of academic projects to enhance his skills. His projects were based on failure mode effect analysis of Samsung note components, quality analysis of Toyota 9 million recall, and simple and multiple linear regressions. Some of the highlights of his last project are:

- He conducted this project to measure the parameters for the box office collection of a movie using budget, director, actor, Number of prequel as independent variables.

- He collected the data set required for the variable to further analyze the success of a movie.

- His analysis showed that 88.59% of the model is explained by the variables actor and budget, which results in huge box office collection.

About Nithin Kantharaj

An alumnus of PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Nithin Kantharaj is a skilled product developer and project manager. After pursuing Bachelors in Mechanical engineering, he went on to study Industrial engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Nithin Kantharaj has an expertise in Lean Manufacturing, SPC, TQM, Time and Motion Study, Value Stream Mapping, Six sigma(DMAIC), KANBAN, ISO, PFMEA,DFMEA, KAIZEN, GD&T, Root cause analysis, Corrective and preventive action(CAPA), JIT, 5S, IQ,PQ, and QP. While he was in college, he worked on a number of academic projects. Some of the major projects he worked upon include failure mode effect analysis of Samsung note components, quality analysis on Toyota 9 million recalls, and simple & multiple linear regressions.

Nithin is quite passionate about travelling to new places.
