Marg Kronfeld had various successful professional stints before joining M & M K Properties, even one in a very similar role. As the company director of the property management company, she had numerous responsibilities.

 
Marg Kronfeld had a very successful professional career prior to joining M & M K Properties, a career that helped her be successful at this venture. After earning her diploma from the Northcote College, she started her professional career at BNZ, working as an administration manager. During the seven years she worked there, she had finance, data procession, operational and even managerial duties. After leaving BNZ, she earned her first company director role with K H Civil, a business that did site works and completed excavation operations. While working there, Marg Kronfeld had more administrative duties than she did at her previous job, but she welcomed the challenge.

After a successful stint, she found a very similar role at Tiagra Construction, remaining in the same field and getting a chance to use previously accumulated knowledge. At Tiagra, her duties involved project managerial tasks for the first time, which was an even bigger responsibility. She even had decision making power over budget questions, which was definitely a new experience. Her next opportunity to showcase her unique skills in the construction business came with M & M K Properties, a company that had a more diverse profile than any of her previous employers.

M & M K Properties builds and maintains rental properties in the Auckland area, and as such, they needed someone who could solve questions related to project management. As the company’s director, Marg Kronfeld was responsible for various important operations, including budget, finance and project management duties. Without significant prior experience, being in a dual role and having various responsibilities would have been extremely hard for her, but being familiar with the roles – and the expectations that they came with – enabled her to succeed.

The dual role required her to actively help the planning process and the execution of the plans, all the while managing teams and expectations. In addition to this, she was also working closely with project teams who needed guidance, and that required her to frequently do her own research on certain topics. In this way she acquired the knowledge necessary to accomplish her individual goals, as well as to meet company targets.
