The selected works are partly created especially for the exhibition project, partly there are already existing works.

8) AGADEZ (NIGER ), projects of Not Vital (Sent , Agadez - Niger, Beijing)

Not Vital’s works are inspired by personal impressions, experiences and encounters with people on his many travels around the world. Images and forms of different countries, regions and ethnic groups , he made into new sculptures, installations and construction projects that are also always committed to the traditional aspect of the local culture . Not Vital has brought the land art on a grand scale to Africa: in Agadez, - one of his places of residence - the land of the Tuareg, Not Vital in his belief in the good forces of nature and the identity of desert nomads, the artist has erected a pyramidal school. His “sustainable art” helps to ensure that the children are educated and adults have work opportunities with their craftsmanship.

In the Bourbaki Panorama Luzern THE PATH OF HUMANITY begins: Edouard Castres had this circular painting created in 1881 showing the first Red Cross humanitarian relief action in 1871, when Switzerland granted 87,000 French soldiers asylum .
