As part of a heartfelt service initiative, Freemason Lodge Dr. Gaurhari Singhania organized a special charity event for the visually impaired children of Andh Vidyalay, located in Jawahar Nagar, Kanpur, on Sunday, 20th April 2025.
On this occasion, Braille papers and a storage almirah were donated to the school for the convenience of visually impaired students.
The event was graced by the presence of Worshipful Master W Bro. Maneesh Mishra, Secretary V W Bro. Y. M. Desai, Treasurer W Bro. Abhay Purwar, R W Bro. Naveen Khanna, W Bro. Pankaj Nigam, W. Bro. Ajay Mehrotra, W Bro. Sachin Garg, W Bro. Awdhesh Gupta, W Bro. Virat Gupta, W Bro. Ankur Anshwaniand other distinguished members of the Lodge.
R W Bro. Naveen Khanna addressed the gathering, sharing insights about the history and working of Freemasonry, and spoke about the Lodge’s future charity plans for students.
V W Bro. Y. M. Desai introduced the gathering to the history, principles, and values of Freemason Lodge Dr. Gaurhari Singhania, emphasizing its commitment to social service and charitable causes.
The excellent arrangements for the event were meticulously handled by W Bro. Abhay Purwar and W Bro. Pankaj Nigam.
Speaking at the event, Worshipful Master W Bro. Maneesh Mishra said:
"We believe in meaningful contribution to society, and supporting the education of visually impaired children is a cause close to our hearts. We shall continue this association with Andh Vidyalay in the future as well."
