Mattress manufacture Make My Foam (MMF) to produce 1 million free masks for the African continent to fight Covid-19.

Certified foam maker MMF has announced that it’ll send one-million reusable masks to African countries in light of Covid-19.

Mr. Adam Brown, the CEO, said, “we understand our responsibility towards the environment and stand along with our frontline warriors in a pandemic. We’ll continue to support this noble cause and will contribute the best possible way”.

African countries have a shortage of face masks during this pandemic. In response to the common good, MMF focuses its facility in Edmonton to the massive production of reusable masks.

Further, he stated that we aren’t doing this for profit as it’ll be 100% free. MMF is to bear the entire cost of this production. These masks aren’t equivalent to N95 masks but will undoubtedly provide a barrier to the coronavirus transmission. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has assured that if N95 masks aren’t available, these reusable masks can help prevent coronavirus transmission.

Double layers of certified organic cotton with a tie strap to fix it in place. You may also machine wash it but with warm water. If possible, people must use the Clorox disinfecting bleach and dry it using high heat to make it virus free. African countries generally have a high temperature during sunlight. People must dry the mask entirely in sunlight before use. One pack contains 6 masks in total, 2 for adults, and rest 4 for children, and all masks are 100% biodegradable & recyclable. Apart from this, MMF has also developed an internal task force to support the local authorities, frontline warriors in need. This task force will fulfill the need for bedding accessories & medical equipment. Edmonton's new facility can produce temporary, disposable & reusable bedding accessories including mattresses, bedsheets, pillows, toppers, etc.

Not only the bedding accessories, but MMF is working on the medical equipment such as adjustable beds, orthopedic pads, emergency kit as well. We’re in touch with the local Support Ambassadors in African countries, who’ll help distribute everyday citizens. We’re ready for every situation as the spread emerges; if required, we’ll again send the next shipment of the same quality very soon.

Our team is also in the constant touch of WHO and Red Cross society to ensure the demand & supply. We already sent a team of qualified medical professionals on the continent to take charge of the situation. The internal task force ensures the continuous supply, accommodation & other needs on a priority basis. Our frontline warriors & doctors need protection too. In case of any emergency, the internal task force helps them get quarantined with the required assistance.

Earlier a few years, when Ebola emerged, then also MMF took the lead alone. From meals to medicines, temporary accommodation to clothes & bedding accessories, we participated with the various non-profit organizations in light of the epidemic. "Nothing comes before humanity and we always strive to pay attention whenever required," says Ms. Kathy Williams, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MMF.

Later, she shed light on the company's vision and further stated, "At MMF, we always focus on ecological sustainability, environmental safety, conservation of resources and climate protection. With the use of recyclable as well as renewable materials, we contribute to climate protection and reducing carbon emission".
Our highly sophisticated safety standard and innovative wastes & recycling management help the country reduce CO2 footprints. We never believe in overproduction. Our staff always tries to accommodate consumers' needs and order situations.

We fetch an analytical report of the entire market covering the forecast & opportunities. Post pandemic, the market won't behave the same. The market drivers, movement, sales, hurdles will be challenging shortly, and we're already working towards it. We think that the bedding industry will rise once again as people are now aware of the importance of sleep, sanitized bedding accessories.
