Linked Forensic Consultants is a forensic consulting company based in Wellington New Zealand. Through the range of services we offer, our aim has always been to improve the quality of forensic science and in extension, make forensic evidence more reliable.

Sean Doyle, holder of a certificate in advanced analytical chemistry and an honours degree in applied chemistry, has years of local and international experience in the forensic field. Dianne Doyle, holder of a first degree in Biochemistry and Masters' degree in Forensic Science, has more than 17 years of forensic science experience.

1. Expert evidence

With over five decades of combined forensic experience, we are the best-placed consultants for expert witness testimony. Through a thorough understanding of the forensic process starting from the crime scene, we are able to put any available forensic evidence through strict scrutiny. Our aim is to challenge the reliability of forensic evidence from a point of knowledge in order to ensure that it passes the highest standards.

2. Education and training in forensic science

As much as we are committed to improving the reliability of forensic evidence, we are also passionate about spreading our knowledge and experience to other people. Our forensic science courses and practical training are available to forensic science practitioners, investigators, lawyers and students already taking forensic science courses.

Our training services have regularly been requested in institutions such as Kings College London, University of Kent and University of Otago. We also provide on-demand lectures and seminars to different groups.

3. Quality systems management

We have extensive experience in developing and managing quality systems. With both directors having been certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) and trained as quality auditors, they have the requisite expertise to offer management of a wide range of quality systems.

We can help in the quality management of laboratory based forensic science (ISO 17025), crime scene examination (ISO 17020) and certified reference materials (ISO Guide 34) among others. In addition, we can help your organisation in prepping for ISO 9001 and achieving this certification more quickly.
