The author of the book remarked, “I was inspired to write the book by those who faced and overcame physical disabilities in their own lives.” He further added, “The book features 15 beautiful illustrations by actor and artist Richard Kinsey that reveals Lucky, his owner, and his courageous recovery.”

After reading the puppy tale children will come to know about how to overcome the most serious disabilities and find happiness again. The whole story revolves around a special dog named, Lucky who is bought by a man who all the time feels lonely and feels like something is missing in his life. He gets a dog and names him Lucky. Together they both enjoy life to the hilt. They go for walks and love each other very dearly. Not only this, man also teaches Lucky several tricks and trains him fully. Then all of sudden Lucky meets with an accident. He gets hit by a car and loses one of his legs. Gentle and playful Lucky faces all the hurdles without any kind of fear and worry. While seeing his positivity children can learn a lot. They can learn how to face challenges in life with open arms and by not losing confidence. Problems can be overcome with friend’s support and person’s firm determination and belief. Physical disabilities are not to be mourned neither to be worried nor to feel low about. With the power of positive thinking difficult times can pass easily. This highly original and instructive story will spark positivity among the numerous children.

After getting injured and disabled still the man does not leaves the dog rather he re-trains him. The man does not runs away from his responsibilities neither he feels sad. He re-trains his dog and after the dog gets recovered they again resume back to their normal life. Lucky learns that despite getting injured and suffering from physical disability life still goes on and rather much more smoothly and wonderfully than it did before. This is a very great and a touching story. Right from the beginning Lucky captures the attention and heart of the readers.
