Rachel Y. Marshall, Esq. started her career as an attorney at Essex County Public Defender’s Office in Newark. She litigated criminal indictable cases including drug offenses, theft, sexual assault, armed robberies, and possession of deadly weapons. She also assigned assistant public defender to represent clients at arraignment and bail hearings.

Pertaining to her role as Adjunct Professor Criminal Law at Union County College, Division of Social Sciences, Business & History, Cranford, NJ, she ensures the success of students by providing the effective education. In addition, she is well aware of Canvas and Cengage online services that she makes use of in order to manage student’s attendance, grading, and assignments.

Pertaining to her education credentials, Rachel Y. Marshall, Esq. holds a Bachelor degree in Science and Arts from Rutgers University. She has double major in Sociology and Administration of Justice.

Being the former solo practitioner, she maintained a landlord-tenant practice through the State of New Jersey. Besides, Rachel represented landlords and housing nonprofits in tenant eviction matters.
