Goldstein enjoys his work, and has hundreds of negatives from parades, Mardi Gras, and jazz funerals in and around New Orleans. Of Jewish decent, Mr. Goldstein was unaware that Mardi Gras and his orthodox upbringing could blend, but in New Orleans the Krewe du Vieux, a concept of Mardi Gras and not-for-profit organization promotes Jewish culture.
