Natural hair is one’s own personnel identity. Each and every person has his own style of hair quality and textures. Oiling is the best thing which is to be done to maintain the quality of the hair.

10th August 2012 - There are different types of hair that people are naturally endowed with.
The different shades of Natural hair that people have are determined by the varying concentrations of the natural pigment that are present in the hair. It has been found that there are two chief classes of hair pigments, and which are present in different amounts in order to regulate the resultant colour of a person’s hair.
The pigment Eumelanin, is the chiefly prevalent pigment found in the hair types of darker hues, like black, brown, dark brown, and dark blonde hair.
Pheomelanin is the pigment which is most dominantly found in red hair, and all its intermediate shades. These two types of melanin pigments are mostly absent from light blonde or silver blonde hair. Subsequently, the greying of natural hair occurs due to the reduction of melanin production and the eventual halt that the whole process comes to. The hair care regime that one adopts must be designed keeping in mind the chief characteristics of one’s hair.
For example, people with dry, curly hair, need to include more number of moisturisers and hair lotions in their regimes instead of shampoos. Then, people with oily black hair, need to find herbal shampoos that can wash away excess of oil secretions from within the scalp and yet nourish, the strands of hair, from the roots to the ends of the individual strands.
It is generally advised that people with glossy black hair massage their hair with oils made from Aloe Vera or coconut, in order to retain the shine and the health of the hair. These massaging sessions are followed by shampooing and conditioning in order to maintain a well-rounded black hair care routine.
There are different ways of ensuring that dry black hair gets enough moisture. This can be brought about by the application of jojoba oils or shea butter extracts, and regular oiling with nourishing, aromatic oils. In order to maintain the hair, proper diet is advised, which includes more proteins and vitamins, than oils. In this way, black hair can be cared for and maintained.
