Students from all over the UK and other parts of the world have attended photography courses from the highly regarded London Institute of Photography (LIoP). The institute caters for all and offers classes for beginners as well as for advanced students.
Various outcomes are possible: you complete either single courses that reflect your specific area of interest or you enrol for the professional photography course that is designed to address different modules that students can benefit from.
The courses are structured in such as way that both amateurs and students with advanced capabilities can attend and benefit from the hours they put in. Some students enrol because they want to sharpen certain skills whereas others see their attendance as a way of preparing them for the life of the full time, professional photographer. Both scenarios are possible.
Different courses, for example, include a beginner’s course, and intermediary course – or the professional course that prepares attendees for a life as professional photographers if that is what they want.
The Institute’s Holger Pooten, Director, was interviewed at his offices recently where he said, “Our courses have been very popular this year for the skills and knowledge our teachers impart and the confidence it instils in our students when they go out there and practice what we offer them.
“Because we offer such a choice of modules we are able to attract students with different expectations and requirements, and therefore we structure our courses to suit all levels. We are often recommended by past students; therefore we ensure we meet demand.
“Also, we still have places available on our courses for the remainder of 2018, and we’d like to invite anyone that’s interested to apply as some of the courses are being booked out. We keep our classes small and therefore it is always best not to wait too long before you make your decision to enrol with us.”
All courses are popular either as stand-alone modules or as part of the greater professional course. Course times are flexible which means different students can attend at times that suit them. Some courses take place during the week during normal hours, whereas other schedules allow for attendance at night or over weekends.
The Institute is known for the high premium they place on creativity which is fused with technical skills and knowledge to ensure that students complete their courses with attention to all important aspects of what one could expect of a quality course.
At the London Institute of Photography (LIoP) the student has various choices in terms of his/her photography aspirations. Under the tutelage of experienced teachers the student is exposed to all the aspects of what advanced digital photography is about. Students can enrol for different courses, right from those meant for beginners to the student who wants to become a professional photographer. Flexible time schedules make it possible for attendance of courses on either a full time, or part time basis, and students receive instruction in small groups. There are also opportunities for one-to-one tuition for those students who are interested. LIoP is well known for their Professional Photography Course as well as for a number of Individual Courses.
