The issue of global warming that leads to climatic change has been an escalating menace for decades. The primary cause of the climatic change can be attributed to the human activities that lead to detrimental effects on the health of the Earth. On the one hand, global warming affects marine life, making scientists skeptical about the future of the next generation. On the other hand, it affects the current generations because of the increased levels of rainfall which causes diseases like malaria and other waterborne illnesses. My post examines the reasons why contemporary society should be concerned about global warming, climatic change, and the health of the Earth.
Firstly, global warming is the reason for droughts taking place in various parts of the world. For instance, the prevalence of droughts is mostly experienced in the western parts of the U.S., which causes the loss of the savannah grasslands. All this is due to the high carbon emission in the atmosphere that affects the ozone layer.
It is also due to the ozone layer depletion that contemporary society experiences climatic change. Furthermore, this aspect affects the global expansion in the victims of natural calamities that happens due to climatic change. Additionally, the health of the Earth is in the most critical condition because of human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, industrial emissions, and domestic use of chemical fertilizers.
All this revolves around human activities that can be regulated to make the Earth a more comfortable place for life. Therefore, it is an obligation of society to innovate new methods that can help reduce unintentional and intentional activities that lead to global warming.
In conclusion, the effects of global warming that lead to climatic change are enough to spark the attention of the whole world. Therefore, it is an individual obligation of everyone to ensure that they participate in curbing this escalating menace. It is the only way to give a hopeful life to the current and future generations.
