Those who are the followers of the faith of Islam know the meaning of the word Khutba that comes from Arabic Khutbah and refers to the sermons or prayers that are delivered during Friday prayers mostly on the occasions of birthdays of saints as well as on the two idds. The most important of this Khutba Khutbah is the one given by the prophet Mohammd10 years after his migration from Mecca to Madinah. This sermon also happened to be his last one and is meant for the entire humanity and not just the Muslims around the world. Khutba Khutbah contains carefully chosen words and the text is very meaningful and concise.

The real meaning of Khutba
If one tries to get to the etymology of the word, it comes from the Arabic Khatib who was believed to be the tribal spokesman who talked about the virtues and the nobility of his tribe and the cruel acts of the enemies of his tribe in the times of pre-Islamic Arab world. It is important to note that even Prophet Muhammad describes himself as a Khatib when he gives his last sermon after hijrah. In present time, Khutba Khutbah has come to refer to the formal preaching that takes place during Friday prayers at the Masjids. But these sermons assume far greater importance on the two important idds that are celebrated all over the Muslim world.

Here it is important to note that the Holy Quran does not mention or talk about the word or the tradition of Khutba and there is only one instance where the word has been used in Quran and that is in reference to Qitaal. In modern times, there is a greater than ever significance and importance of these sermons called Khutba Khutbah to work as a lighthouse for the society in general.

The real meaning of dreams in Islam
There is a lot of confusion among Muslims over the meanings attached to the content of their dreams. This is because of people interpreting dreams in different ways though there is a clear prescribed manner in which one should interpret his dreams according to the faith of Islam. There are many books meant to help people in this regard. Meaning of dreams can be found inside these books. If one is worried about a dream that he sees often as he cannot make out the meaning of the dreams, these books can really help Muslims to understand the reason why they see such dreams.

Meaning of dreams has been explained with the help of words that relates strongly to the dreams seen by people. For example, if a man sees dreams that are somehow related to milk, it means that he is the blessed one as he has received religious knowledge. Similarly, meaning of dreams that consist of seeing oneself in a room or many rooms is that one is safe from his worries or fears. It simply means that the person can rest in peace as he has nothing to fear about.
