The Jaw Health Resource is excited to launch their website this September. The site will provide free information about temporomandibular joint disorders and will be available to both physicians and the public.

[United States, September 5, 2016] – The Jaw Health Resource is launching its website in September. It has been developing the website for some time and has been working hard to put together the best source of information about the jaw – its function, dysfunction, and methods of treatment – available on the web. The website has three sections that viewers can explore: Anatomy, Disorders, and Treatments.

While the website contains information for additional knowledge, the content found here does not intend to diagnose or treat disease. So far, this is only available in English, but the company intends to make it available in multiple languages to cater to non-English-speaking physicians and readers.

Anatomy

This page contains the anatomy of the jaw – the bones, ligaments, and muscles, as well as its functions. The company made it highly interactive, providing users a unique experience, as well as giving them in-depth information about how the jaw works.

Disorders

Here, users can find more information about the various disorders that affect the jaw, which include trauma, joint inflammation, disc displacement, benign tumors, ankylosis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Should potential patients feel like they are suffering from any of the disorders listed on the website, they should consult with a qualified physician right away so that they can be diagnosed accurately.

Treatments

The company provided a page where they listed various possible treatments to help various cases of TMJ – from mild to severe. This involves muscle relaxants, injections, anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs), physical therapy, arthrocentesis, and a few others.

Users can click these and each one features a looped video of the procedure, an overview, indications, and precautions of the treatment.

Referral Network

Physicians listed on the website have neither paid for the privilege nor have been paid for the listing. They also have a feature, which makes it easier to look for TMJ or TMD specialists within the potential patient’s vicinity.

About The Jaw Health Resource

Nexus CMF developed The Jaw Health Resource to provide free information about jaw function, dysfunction, and methods of treatment. Physicians and potential patients alike are given access to this educational resource to further understand diagnoses and plan their treatment.

The website will be up and running from the start of September. Those who want to know more about the temporomandibular joint may visit http://www.tmj.com.
