Sandals Resorts are providing guests with a free replacement stay, should their holiday be impacted by the coronavirus while at the resort. This new initiative provides guests with free COVID-19 testing while staying at any of the Sandals Resorts in the Caribbean.

Any guests who test positive for the COVID-19 virus are required to quarantine and will be offered an accommodation credit voucher to cover their room cost. This includes any holidays that are booked by the end of the year to travel before 31 December 2022. The voucher can be redeemed to stay at the resort within twelve months of issue, ensuring the guest gets to enjoy all these amazing resorts have to offer.

Nashir Janmohamed, the Managing Director of Let's Talk Travel in the United Kingdom, said “United Kingdom guests at the Sandals Resorts have a complimentary on-site PCR test or an antigen test, based on the local government requirements. This includes the antigen test required for British guests to return to the UK. This is carried out within seventy-two hours of departure with results available within twenty-four hours.”

This new Sandals Holiday Assurance scheme, which was introduced a couple of months ago, is designed to reduce the worry associated with international travel.
