Dirty Talk focuses onpromoting women in the film industry. Women comprise 50 percent of the population, and Dirty Talk therefore aims at seeing the same gender parity reflected on and off screen. It supports female voices within the television, film, and media industry.

Dirty Talk initially came about because the three creators were tired of auditioning for female characters that were usually categorized as either the “sex symbols”, or the “plain but comical, best friend.”
“We want Dirty Talk to see past looks and to promote diversity in film; portraying real women, in real life, while under arguably unreal circumstances,” says Alexa Berry, one of the creatorsof Dirty Talk.

By bringing together workers, audiences and industry officials, Dirty Talk works to empower women working in the film industry to achieve their professional potential and promotes positive images of women to the public. It also works to preserve the legacies of all women working in the entertainment industry.

The founders are exclusively focused on investing in women in the film industry, empowering, and advancing their story lines to increase the viewership of their films. They realize that empowering and promoting women to participate fully across all sectors is essential to build a stronger industry. This will help women to achieve their professional goals for sustainability and development of the industry ensuring the inclusion of their energies, skills and talents.
