When your brain sends the message that no food is coming when food is due or worse even, overdue, your system slows down and every calorie you have is preserved to the upmost.

 
When your brain sends the message that no food is coming when food is due or worse even, overdue, your system slows down and every calorie you have is preserved to the upmost. So, when you miss a meal, you brain sends the message that no food will be coming in and at that very moment your body is trying to preserve all the calories and fat available to their maximum. Calories which could have gone away naturally if you had only eaten a small meal.This is why skipping meals won't help you to lose your stubborn fat. As a matter of fact it will do the exact opposite.

The number one rule is to not skip meals if you want to lose weight and get rid of your stubborn fat. Furthermore, skipping meals when you are hungry is not fun, is it? Losing weight should be fun and rewarding at the same time. Skipping meals has the opposite effect, especially if you are hungry.
