The Center for Legal Studies (CLS) provides financial aid for those who want to pursue a career in the legal profession but cannot afford to pay for continuing education courses.

[EVERGREEN, 4/13/2018]—The Center for Legal Studies (CLS), a Colorado-based legal education company, offers financial aid to students and people who would like to continue their education towards a career in the legal profession. The financial aid program is available in its Evergreen headquarters, their partner colleges and universities in the United States, and online.

Legal Courses & Financial Aid

CLS courses consist of training and education for law school preparation and legal positions such as paralegals, legal secretaries, legal nurse consultants, and more. Students often take these courses for college credit, for pursuing a law education, or when going into a legal career.

For college students, multiple grants, loans, and federal financial aid are available in many of CLS’ partner schools. These aids may vary in terms and conditions.

For non-credit courses, or for students not studying for a degree, CLS suggests multiple funding options. One is the Workforce Investment Act Funding, where people who study as part of job training can receive funding if they meet certain requirements. There are available loans for those seeking to continue their education. Some schools also accept Sallie Mae Career Training Loans and Military Funding provided by the government.

However, not all schools accept financial aid students. CLS has an extensive list of partner schools across the US, so interested individuals must first contact CLS to find one that suits their financial needs.

Registering for Legal Courses

Highly qualified legal professionals teach CLS courses. Because these courses use common law, foreigners who want to pursue legal professions in their own countries may also enroll in online classes.

Potential enrollees do not need to be a paralegal or law student. However, they must have a high school diploma or its equivalent in their country and must be able to speak and read English. They must also bear in mind that the courses offered are taught at college-level, and they must perform accordingly.
