New York-based broker-dealer, Lead Capital Partners, is pleased to announce that it has concluded negotiations with Cannabliss Investments to raise seed finance to fund the establishment of a number of retail outlets that will sell edible cannabis-infused products directly to the public.

Cannabliss is a wholesale distributor of medical and legal recreational use-marijuana products on the continental United States that works exclusively with retail and medicinal outlets in the 23 states that have passed legislation allowing the use of marijuana derivatives.

The company seeks to enter the retail sector of the rapidly-expanding legalized marijuana market in the US and plans to establish a number of small cafes, provisionally named “inCREDIBLES Cafés” that will sell edible cannabis-infused products in its home state of Florida.

“Florida will vote on the “Right to Medical Marijuana Initiative” constitutional amendment at a ballot to be held on 8 November 2016. Both Lead Capital Partners and Cannabliss are highly confident of a positive outcome to the vote and, with this in mind, we have agreed to raise the funding required to set up the stores, acquire the full state license dispensary licenses and establish the supply chain,” says Corinne Mayer, senior Vice President of New Ventures at Lead Capital Partners.

Lead Capital Partners says it has agreed to secure US$5 million in initial funding by way of a private equity placement to selected institutional and private clients.
