In 2Q 2022, the United States was the leading source of pageviews for commercial rental properties on Lamudi. Offices were the most viewed property type among US-based property seekers. Singapore, Australia and Japan also contributed a significant share of pageviews to commercial rentals on Lamudi.

Nearly a quarter of all overseas pageviews for commercial rentals on Lamudi were from property seekers in the United States. Large cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas contributed the most pageviews to commercial rentals in the Philippines. Offices were the most viewed commercial rental sub-category by seekers from the US, followed by retail spaces and warehouses.

The US is the third largest source of overseas PEZA investments, with engagements in call centers, business process outsourcing (BPOs) and software development among other service industries, according to Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Charito Plaza in an interview with the Philippine Star in 2021.

In 2Q 2022, the Department of Trade and Industry confirmed interest from a US IT company, and re-affirmed the country's status as a top attractive investment destination for American investors.

Interest in the country as a strategic location for foreign investments is slated for growth in the coming years following the passage of various policies aimed at liberalizing the economy. Approved amendments to the Foreign Investment Act, Foreign Investment Negatives List, Public Service Act, and Retail Trade Liberalisation Act have been welcome developments to various foreign business communities, and an optimistic development in government goals to further capture foreign investment and improve the country's business climate.
