China - Capsulebed.com, a China based manufacturer of portable and pre-installed sleeping units, recently patented its capsule bed designs that are exclusively available with them. However, the owners have clarified that the basic framework was designed by a French designer and he actually planned to use white as dominant colour inside the capsules that resemble airplane cabins in one or many ways. Not only white, but brilliant combination of grey, blue and stainless steel handrails can be found inside these capsules.

Capsulebed.com has carved its own niche in making flame-retardant and mildew-proof capsule beds that are ideal for youth hostels, army deployments, and micro hotels that are getting popular these days. According to the owners, each of their modern express hostel beds is made of carbon steel, which is why these small sleeping units are sturdier and more stable than ordinary tents and other sorts of capsules invented till date. The beds come with all the standard amenities pre-installed such as charging units, multimedia display etc. The owners commented that the beds are equipped with high-end safety equipment such as SOS buttons alongside fire alarm.

“We wanted to invent something that would be state-of-the-art as well as inexpensive. Our aim was to make the modern express hotel beds affordable for all and we must say that the overall response from the market has been quite overwhelming up to this point. However, we are adding little features every day and our research and development team is always at work to come up with something new and innovative. As of now, we are selling these units through our site only. However, we have planned to sell and promote the products through our authorized distributor channels in and outside China in the future,” said the owner of the firm during a recent press conference.

Another Capsulebed.com spokesperson also commented that their capsule bed units are all environment friendly and they have only used EU-grade parts to construct the capsule beds that are now commercially available all across China and outside the country as well.
