How to Get into Ketosis
Ketosis is a metabolic state which is generated due to the reduction of carbohydrate and thus aids your body to generate high energy by effectively burning fat.

Increment in the level of your ketosis can be done through several measures such as:

 Restricting the intake of carbohydrates to a minimal level.

 Restricting protein to moderate levels.

 Avoiding snacking when you are not feeling hungry.

 Eating enough quantity of fat to feel satisfied.

 Adding intermittent fasting.

 Doing regular exercises to lose excessive weight.

 Sleeping enough.


Ways to Measure Ketosis

I know you might be thinking that although there are several benefits and ways to get into ketosis, but how we can identity that we are actually into it or not.

There are three major ways that you can use to measure ketosis. They are:

1.) Blood ketone meter: - It is one of the most exact ways to measure your level of ketosis, as a blood ketone meter shows the accurate amount of ketones present in your blood.

2.) Urine strips: - These are the cheapest and simplest way to measure your ketosis level. Being a beginner, I would suggest you to use urine strip as the first option.

Drip the ketone strips in your urine and wait for 15 seconds till its color changes. A dark purple color indicates that you are in ketosis.

3.) Breath-ketone analyzers: - The breath-ketone analyzers provide a color code for the general level of ketones present in your breadth. These analyzers are cheaper than blood-ketone meters, but are expensive than urine strips.
