Suhel Seth is a man of many talents. He has a flair for writing, acting, and advertising. Popularly, the renowned personality is known as an advertising guru. Also, he is a businessman. He was born in 1963 into a business family in Kolkata. Being the son of an established businessman, Suhel received education from the finest institutions in the county and abroad. He studied at St Joseph’s College, Nainital and La Martiniere, Kolkata. After completing his BA (Honors) in English and MA in international relations from Jadavpur University, he soon left the country to study Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Seth had different aspirations since childhood. His educational background has made him an avid reader and writer. After completing his education, he chose advertising to be his profession. Since then he has worked with many renowned groups and personalities and received a lot of acclamation. The renowned advertising firms he worked with are Contract Advertising, Response, and Oglivy & Mather. Besides them, he started a venture with his brother in 1996 - Eqqus. Also, he established a consultancy firm in 2002, Couselage.

Besides an advertising guru, Seth is a renowned author. He has written many books and co-authored with some of the famed authors of the country. A lot of his books share many valuable and interesting insights that inspire people like “Mantras for Success: India’s Greatest CEOs Tell You How to Win”. Among the many India’s leading business tycoons that are featured in that book are Anand Mahindra, Adi Godrej, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Anand Mahindra, and Kumar Mangalam Birla. Combined with the mantra of corporate success and Seth’s inspirational writing style, the book is a treasure trove and imparts educational value. ‘How to be socially successful’ and ‘How to make friends at work’ are among his other best sellers.

Seth has been very interested in theatre from an early age. He has acted with leading names like Utpal Dutt. His proficiency in acting skills can be seen in Bollywood movies as well like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Calendar girls and Guzaarish, etc.
