Philanthropy Defined in Kumari Fulbright’s Words

Posted May 9, 2018 by kumarifulbright

If you thought philanthropy is only about providing financial support to people and only rich people in the world can act like a philanthropist then you are wrong.

There are examples like Mother Teresa and there is one more figure coming up in the society with a selfless aim is to provide financial, physical and mental support to the deprived women of the society.

Kumari Fulbright believes that even a taxi driver and a beggar can help people in need and act like a philanthropist for someone. Lots of money will not make you a gentleman, a good heart will. When you see people in pain, you should be able to feel that pain n yourself. When you see people suffering and when you see anyone hungry on the street, your hands should go ahead to give him your favorite food you just bought.

When you are in this situation, you are behaving like a philanthropist and this behavior will not come for anyone in a day or two. Kumari Fulbright has inculcated the habit of visiting orphanages and old age homes since she was in school as her parents used to take her to various places. Since childhood, she has been working for the good of the society and she has been an active member of various social activities done at her school and colleges.

Now, when she is capable enough to start something on her own, she has come up with her Freedom Initiative project which is aimed to help the underprivileged women of the society. This project is a philanthropic deed started by Kumari Fulbright as an act to give back something to the society.

She wishes to make this society a better place to live in for women in America and in the other parts of the world.
