Die Energiespeicher müssen in den Fahrzeugen noch langlebiger sein. Viele Käufer schrecken bisher aus diesem Grund vor dem Kauf eines Elektroautos zurück.Neben Salzwasser-Akkus und einer neuen Schnellladetechnik von Huawei, gibt es aktuell immer wieder neue Berichte über die Revolution der Energiespeicher. Bis wir als Kunden endlich von solchen neuen Akkus profitieren, wird es aber wahrscheinlich noch etwas dauern.

HP hat seine im Sommer 2016 begonnene Rückrufaktion für Notebook-Akkus erweitert. Kunden, die bereits im vergangenen Jahr ihre Notebooks überprüft haben, müssen dies unbedingt wiederholen, weil weitere Akkus dazugekommen sind, warnt der Hersteller. Die Akkus könnten überhitzen und in Brand geraten.Die betroffenen Akkus wurden in Notebooks der Reihen HP, Compaq, HP ProBook, HP ENVY, Compaq Presario und HP Pavillon ausgeliefert, die weltweit zwischen März 2013 und Oktober 2016 verkauft wurden. Sie wurden auch als Zubehör oder Ersatzteile verkauft und vom Kundendienst als Ersatzteile bereitgestellt.

Der schwachbrüstige Prozessor des Primebook verbraucht recht wenig Strom und kommt ohne Lüfter aus. Dadurch arbeitet das Notebook lautlos und hält bei Office-Programmen lange durch. Erst nach gut fünf Stunden muss der Akku wieder an die Steckdose. Beim Videogucken ist der Prozessor stärker gefordert, der Akku macht nach 3drei Stunden und 45 Minuten schlapp. Nervig: Das mitgelieferte Netzteil ist zwar schön klein und leicht, braucht aber rund viereinhalb Stunden, um den Akku vollzutanken.
