WordPress Interns take highly motivated students and matches them with entrepreneurs, small business owners and startups who need digital or website help. The program was started and led by two interns who believed in a better system for interns with technical talent - Andrea Blue and Vanesa Anaya-Aldana.

When contacted, Andrea Blue, the administrative executive of the academy, said, "To Wordpress Interns, students are given the opportunity to excel in a real business environment, training them for the future." The technical execution of the Wordpress Interns, Vanesa Anaya-Aldana, added, “The resources here are incredible and allow interns who have great technical skill to be paid for their professional work."
