Love they say is a powerful tonic. This is probably why Israel Maduabunachukwu an unpublished writer is hoping to publish and dedicate a book to the memory of his late wife. Israel lost his wife to pregnancy related complications.

“It was the most successful pregnancy in nine years after series of miscarriages,” lamented the bereaved husband. “We were so happy and looked forward to carrying our first children. Therefore I was unprepared for what happened next in her early third trimester. Her death forever robbed me of my joys. It devastated and wrecked me.”

Israel continued, “I plan to publish Changing Hearts, the book she helped nurtured, and dedicate it to her memories and to the memories of those beloved unborn children. I love them all and had even named them even though I never saw them.”

Israel Maduanachukwu is currently running a crowd-funding campaign to raise publishing and distribution costs at Indiegogo, a popular crowd-funding platform.

“Self publishing costs are prohibitive; I implore every kindhearted individual to contribute and help make this happen for me and my wife. I have such great rewards and perks for everyone who contributes to the realization of this dream.”

One of such tantalizing rewards or perks are copies of a limited NOT FOR SALE (sponsors’ only) edition of the book, a priceless collector’s edition. Other rewards include a one in a lifetime opportunity to have your name written forever in gold in the books acknowledgement/Thank you pages and beautifully designed Changing Hearts t-shirts.

“The perks are my way of appreciating donors. I am not selling them books; rather they are partners in this awesome project. Changing Hearts will be a success,” Israel states emphatically. “I can’t wait to see this baby come to life.”

Changing Hearts is a work of fiction and tell the riveting story of Wendy a young child who needs to undergo organ replacement procedure. As the time ticks away it became increasingly difficult to secure organ for the dying child, until her father offers to exchange organs with her. However, his offer is rejected by the team of transplant specialists forcing the desperate man to resort to the court to prove his daughter had rights to live her life to the fullest.
