KJ Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vadodara announces to start a new engineering course from June 2013. The institute has already received permission from AICTE, and it expects to get a huge influx of students from different parts of the country for the engineering course. Currently, the institute is affiliated by Gujarat Technical University. Currently, the new engineering courses will be introduced only in few disciplines, but plans are there to extend the facilities and programs for the students in the near future.

The institute aims to offer opportunities to the civil engineering students by offering seats from 60 to 120, while students who aspire to study automobile engineering can also enroll into this university because the numbers of seats available are 60. It is one of the proposed new branches of engineering and the institute hopes that large numbers of interested students will be drawn towards this course.

S.B Polytechnic is the current partnering college of KJIT and it aims to offer II shift for Diploma in Mechanical engineering and Electrical engineering with 60 seats in each. The institute has become popular for sometimes now, and there are lots of student that make a brilliant career from this institute every year. According to a senior spokesperson of the institute, “We are very happy to announce the new engineering courses apart from the existing one, so that it can offer more opportunities for the talented and aspiring individuals to get a good chance for a brighter future. We are sure that this announcement will draw large numbers of students, and forms have already started to come.”

KJIT is successful in attracting so many students because not only the current courses of engineering are bright and successful, but the facilities and environment of the institute are outstanding.
