How the creative environment was invented?

The idea of creating a place where creatively gifted people could express themselves freely, communicate with each other, do what they love, and get not only personal satisfaction, but also an income.

And to accomplish all this, the same place would have useful tools gathered together that would facilitate the processes involved with creative endeavours. It would also help you to organize your time the most efficiently, to promote your ideas, to work, and to find partners and like-minded people. A place where, like a designer’s blueprint, one whole will form from different parts that's a convenient place for work as well as a starting point where everyone can make their dreams and projects become a reailty.

The idea to create Konstruktor belongs to the American entrepreneur and visionary Vlad Krishtop.

As the idea became a project, the project took on concrete form, it was time to “outline” it, define the concept and give it the right name.

But what should you call this space where someone will not only get the opportunity to publish their work, show it to others, find support, but also find necessary and convenient services and tools for the "logistics" of their creative activity? A service, a platform, a portal, a resource, or a network?

The name was born during an impromptu brainstorming session at the Belmont public library in Silicon Valley while Vlad was presenting his concept. And the first word in defining the essence of the project and the ‘space’ itself was “environment”.

If we look at the meaning of the word "environment", we’ll find definitions like "surroundings", “setting” and "set of conditions." The important definition for us is "a set of people bound by these conditions.".

An environment can be different things: social, wholesome and even toxic. What kind of environment are we? Who are we?

“We are creators, we are creative, and our environment is a creative one,” Vlad Krishtop summed up. We ourselves create, and we create conditions for a set of people united by a common idea for creativity and an active life.

According to its author, it is the phrase “creative environment” that best expresses the essence of the concept of creating that ideal place in both the virtual and real world where a person can create, self-actualize and make their dream become a reality.

And as a result, after conducting research on self-realization, Vlad’s conviction in his idea that the need for self-realization is an integral part of human happiness became stronger. Aristotle was the first to write about this, while Jean-Jacques Rousseau spoke about the need to create an environment for creative personal development, and the American psychologist Abraham Maslow placed the need for self-actualization at the base of his famous hierarchy of needs.

This is how the Creative Environment was invented, a new unique format for cooperation and communication between people from all over the world in the 21st century.
