THIS TIME FOR AFRICA!

Today we are getting to know one branch of modern philosophical thought, "Afrofuturism" and its representative; an artist and photographer from Kenya, Moses Mckenzie.

Afrofuturism is an artistic and cultural movement that claims a new identity through science fiction and historical fantasy based on the cultural experiences of African and Afro-American people.

Moses lives in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. Although he is only 23 years old, he has been working on creative projects for 5 years. Moses is an imaginative artist who creates stylish accessories out of broken mirrors, CDs, matches, and other off-the-shelf items, making them into small artworks.

He decided to take up photography professionally in 2019 to "expand his creative horizons".

We asked Moses, what is his biggest dream today? " I dream of travelling the whole planet and sharing my artwork with other people and artists. And I would like to open my own art studio".

We are very honoured that his adventure starts here, with us, since Konstruktor was created for people like Moses Mckenzie who want to create, express themselves and share their art with others.

What else can we say about Moses Mckenzie? Just check out his photography, it is truly unbelievable!
