Atlanta civil engineering consultants Eberly &Associates Inc. completed three projects this year at Georgia Gwinnett College that will benefit the school’s enrollment for the following semester. With these three new additions, Gwinnett has already doubled their fall 2011enrollment.

Former president for the American Society of Landscape, Dan Eberly said about the project:

“This engineering project was important not only professionally, but personally, because of its direct impact on higher education. It means hundreds of students can enjoy a quality education while living on where they study every day.”

This summer the commuter-only institution will became a full-time residential college with increases in local and regional enrollment. For this reason, Eberly & Associates was contracted to design theproject that would add a four story, 1,000 bed, dormitory to the west end of the campus. The civil engineering consultants were also given the task of placing and creating parking space for each student and their guests. The project proved to be the largest construction investment for the college.

Eberly &Associates also completed design for Tree Creek Boulevard, a new campus perimeter street connecting the north and west campus. This project would open these areas for future development, connecting traffic for the new freshman housing project and athletic fields.

The civil engineering consultants in Atlanta also completed design for the intramural athletic fields recently finished in time for spring sports. The fields were designed for regulation soccerbut are also popular for Frisbee and grass volleyball.

Further civil engineering consultants projects include designs for modifications of the campus infrastructure including water distribution, storm water management, and sanitary sewer systems. The Atlanta civil engineering consultants have proudly prepared conceptual and schematic grading and layout drawings for a proposed parking deck to the existing freshman housing. This project would alleviate parking on campus and around the neighborhood.
