Las Vegas, USA - Muscle car Ford Mustang completed 50 years on Thursday which is considered as the most popular automobile brand in America. Fans from every corner of the world had gathered at Las Vegas for the 50th anniversary celebration of their favourite car, Ford Mustang. “Ford dealers were taking orders around the country fifty years ago from today”, said Hal Sperlich who was in the design team of Mustang earlier and has now retired. Hal Sperlich has also worked as a program manager for Mustang at Ford with Lee Lacocca’s team.

The original pony car came on front of newspapers and magazines after the huge success of its marketing campaign in the year 1964. The marketing team was also successful to introduce this car in TV shows that gave it a great boost and introduce it in the automobile market. In the year 1964, thousands of fans had gathered at Las Vegas speedway to see the look of Ford Mustang as it was introduced on that date. “You were cool if you had a Mustang”, was the scenario at that time recalled Sperlich. The fans of this amazing car are based all round the globe and even today the craze of Mustang has not been lowered.
