Kelvin Griffin is a principal at Destiny Achievers Academy of Excellence Charter School. He enjoys working with the teaching staff and students and strives to improve the school in any way that he can. He is dedicated to helping his students and wants to ensure that each one of them is getting the education they deserve.

Kelvin Griffin believes that lessons and courses should be tailored to fit the needs of each individual student and knows that every student learns differently. What works for one student may not work for another and if teachers are able to offer different teaching methods to their students, more students will be successful.

In order to keep his students and staff motivated and ready to learn, he often hosts special events at his school. This allows the students and staff to have fun together and makes them more eager to learn when the event it over. The school also participates in fundraisers to help raise money for field trips.

Kelvin Griffin has many skills that make him successful as a principal. He is great at solving problems and also has strong social skills. He cares about each and every student and if a problem arises, he makes it a point to find a solution as quickly as possible. He works well with the other staff members and is always considerate of the opinions and feelings of others. He is always confident and does his best to motivate the students and staff members.

He graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a B.A. in Mathematics and Education in 1995 and went on to graduate from Mercer University in 2002 with a M.A. in Education. He continued his education with a Leadership Certification from the University of West Georgia in 2005 and later earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from Mercer University in 2009. He gained valuable experience working as a teacher and assistant principal before taking a position as principal. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and is proud to be able to work there and give back to the community.
