New the Hunt Quest is added in FFXIV:ARR Patch 2.3. The Eorzean Alliance established the Hunt. As a FFXIV adventurer, you can find a Hunt board at each Grand Company, to accept quests and slay monsters in the wild.

Two Types of Marks
There are two types of Hunt with two different types of enemies. Both of them are posted on mark bills.

The first type is the common marks listed in the regular mark bills which are posted once per day. The regular mark bills usually include killing some common enemies. Those marks are actually different for every adventurer. Thus, don’t expect every player on your sever to killing the same monsters.

The other mark is named elite mark bills which are posted once per week. These marks are given out by the Grand Company. There are strong and rare enemies that only spawn under specific conditions on the elite mark bills. Moreover, the target enemies listed for elite marks are the same for all adventurers; so you can group up for them.

Based on their difficulty, the marks are additionally categorized into three ranks.

--The middle rank.
--The hardest rank
