CPR Greenville now offers the BLS-ACLS combo classes since most health care providers are now required to be certified with basic life support and with advanced cardiac life support as well. Their combo class is a convenient way to learn BLS and ACLs immediately in just a class which saves time and money.

They begin the combo class with a review of the updates of American heart association on BLS or basic life support. The individuals renewing their ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) needs to know the information under BLS right away. When the review is done, they proceed on to adult CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training which includes rescue breathing, chest compressions, the use of bag-valve mask and the use of AED (automated external defibrillator). Their classroom setting encourages interactive scenarios that the students will love. And then the group check offs would follow. When the basic life support check offs are complete, the written test that is of a multiple choice type follows. They guarantee a 100% pass rate for this exam.

ACLS and BLS are both the needed courses if you plan to be a health care professional. This is necessary since all of the health care providers encounter emergencies and the management of certain emergencies needs honed skills acquired through vigorous training. These courses can be overwhelming especially to first timers and that why a calm and relaxed yet focused environment is needed to promote optimal learning experience for the ACLS and BLS takers.

They offer these classes on all health care providers in South Carolina. Basic life support certification is required for most health care professionals such as doctors, nurses, paramedics, dentists, therapists and many more. They also need to maintain their certification and level of skills every two years. Which includes:

• Chest compressions for adults
• Chest compressions for children
• Chest compressions for infants
• Rescue breathing for adults
• Rescue breathing for both children and infants
• Choking management
• AED training on adults
• AED training on children
• AED training on infants
ACLS or advanced cardiac life support on the other hand is utilized on areas with critical patients such as the intensive care units and emergency rooms. This course is required of emergency professionals such as paramedics, surgeons, ICU nurses and other health specialists. Advanced cardiac life support covers the following areas and skills:

• Ventilation and Oxygen Administration During CPR
• Passive Oxygen Delivery During CPR
• Bag-Mask Ventilation
• Airway Adjuncts Cricoid Pressure
• Endotracheal Intubation
• Ventilation After Advanced Airway Placement
• Automatic Transport Ventilators
• The use of Suction Devices
• Management of Cardiac Arrest
• Introduction of Defibrillation Strategies
• Drug Therapy in VF/Pulseless VT
• Management of Symptomatic Bradycardia and Tachycardia
• Team systems and coordination
• Megacode

The Greenville CPR Classes are always relaxed and non stressful so it is always guaranteed that you will learn fast and effectively. Their instructors are well versed and trained too.
