The Carina team of 50 engineers worked hard during the last 7 years building a solution from scratch to deliver their technical vision of the “ideal” framework for Java, Maven and TestNG community. The last 3 years the team provided a variety of major enhancements that made Carina one of the top-rated open source automation tools.

The negotiations lasted 3 months, and Zebrunner took the decision to add the Carina framework to its product family. Now, the Zebrunner team is responsible for all development and release cycles and customer support. The great thing is that Carina keeps being an open-source framework at absolutely no cost.
With this acquisition, QA teams and developers can build up the E2E automated testing from scratch with Zebrunner product set. The unique moment is that after building tests with Carina, it’s possible to run them on Zebrunner infrastructure, automatically analyze test results with rich artifacts (test logs, screenshots) and visualize them with highly customized reports.
