The ECO Series cranes are a new addition to Technocrane Inc.’s BIGMAX line of innovative,premium quality small cranes.

BIGMAX ECO Series cranes come in four models ranging in size from 19,000 to 69,000 ft lbs. (3 to 10 t/m). They include a set of outrigger stabilizers built into the crane base.

An innovative in-line boom design allows ECO cranes to reach further than similar sized cranes. They have an excellent lift capacity to weight ratio. For example, the largest ECO crane can lift up to 8800 pounds yet it only weighs 2530 pounds. All models come with dual proportional side controls.

ECO cranes are eco-friendly. They weigh less than most other cranes of their type because of the unique in-line boom design. This means increased payload, greater fuel efficiency and reduced truck emissions. The cranes require 30% less welding in the manufacturing process reducing NO2 emissions and energy requirements by 40 kwh per crane. ECO cranes are finished with water based paint which produces 96% less solvent emissions than cranes painted with oil based paints. Lastly, ECO cranes operate with biodegradable oil.

ECO cranes are also very economical to purchase and operate. For example, the unique in-line boom which is fabricated from high tensile steel is less expensive to manufacture, yet offers top notch performance. Innovations in design such as a pinion that can be purchased separately from the column, reduce repair costs. And, the ECO crane’s unique mounting base requires less frame space making it suitable for installation on shorter wheel base dump and flat bed trucks and smaller import trucks.

ECO cranes comply with ANSI B 30.5, DIN 15018 and EN12999 Standards. Technocrane offers a two year comprehensive parts and labour warranty on all its BIGMAX products, including the ECO cranes.
