Las Vegas, NV, March 10, 2014 -- iCONECT Development LLC, technology leaders who reach beyond the status quo with an intuitive and flexible document review platform that works the way you think, is proud to participate in the second annual "Electronic Discovery for the Small and Medium Case" conference on March 14th in Gainesville, Florida. Ian Campbell, iCONECT’s President and Co-Founder, will lend his expertise to the panel, “Build the Story: Find More Like This” from 2:50–3:40pm EST, at the University of Florida Law School campus (also available online). Campbell will be joined by panelists Larry Chapin, a New York-based eDiscovery consultant, and Gary R. Jones, U.S. Magistrate Judge, Northern District of Florida.

“This conference is a great opportunity to share our document review expertise, XERA® development strategies and the group’s industry knowledge with other thought leaders in the industry,” says Ian Campbell, President and Co-Founder of iCONECT. “With technology changing so quickly, understanding how the use of analytics can positively impact time and cost is key to the success of any case.”

XERA, iCONECT’s flagship document review platform, is part of the eDiscovery and Law education curriculum at key universities and colleges across the country. Continued participation in conferences such as this reinforces iCONECT’s commitment to education in the eDiscovery industry.

This year, “Electronic Discovery for the Small and Medium Case” focuses on letting data tell the winning litigation story. eDiscovery is more than responding to production requests; at its heart, eDiscovery is locating, parsing and restructuring the voluminous and diverse case data – emails, texts, word processing docs, social media postings and messages, databases, digital photos, browsing history, computer logs, and more – into a coherent, winning story.

Sponsored by the University of Florida Levin College of Law and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), the conference will be held on March 14, 2014 at the UF Law campus and will also be available as a live, online stream. The Conference focuses on solutions to the difficulties, issues, and decisions that attorneys face in competently and cost-effectively handling eDiscovery in small and medium cases. The Conference also features demonstrations of a new generation of right-sized eDiscovery software and tools for each phase of the eDiscovery process. Attendees will be eligible to receive 9 CLE credits. The Conference is underwritten by the International Center for Automated Research (ICAIR) at the University of Florida Levin College of Law as part of its public mission.

Registration is $199 for in-person participants or $99 for those who wish to attend via live stream. For partners of iCONECT, complimentary registration is available on a limited basis. For more details, please contact [email protected].
