Elkin North Carolina Teen Pop Star AJ Montero Signs with Hollywood Multi-platinum Disney Hannah Montana Producer Andrew Lane & Captures New Film Role In Hollywood Film!

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Elkin, North Carolina

North Carolina Teen Star AJ Montero releases new single "Always be the Same" produced by Hannah Montana, High School Musical Mult-Platinum Bill Board Producer Andrew Lane! In addition, AJ Montero has been cast for the Matthew Parry-Jones film “Charlie’s Messenger.” She will be playing the part of the “mean” girl, which is so funny, because she can do the part well, but she is anything but mean. She has a huge heart, and originally wanted to become a social worker to help children.

AJ's Mom states "Singing all her life from the time she could talk. I struggled to find a voice teacher for her, as most won’t take them until they’re 13 years old. Sang at first for church, then at nursing homes etc in connection with her State of Florida pageant crowns. Discovered by Radio Disney and sang at all their events.

On AJ's 15th birthday last November, she heard an ad on the radio. This was a talent search exclusively for kids. She wanted to participate, and well, it WAS her birthday. So we called the 800 number and drove to Raleigh at our appointed time. Out of 845 kids that auditioned, she was one of 20 chosen to attend The Event in Orlando Florida in March. We signed her up for 18 showcases that included singing, dancing, acting and modeling. At The Event there were aaprox 75 talent agents and managers, that were judging performances. AJ received 6 call backs, one of them was from Andrew Lane of Drew Right Music.

Andrew Lane is a pop-hip hop-R&B songwriter and record producer. He was born in San Diego, California. Lane has worked with artists such as Backstreet Boys and Irene Cara, As a producer and songwriter, Lane has received gold and platinum accreditations for his work. He also worked on the platinum-accredited records High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Disneymania 4, and Manny Fresh.

2012 Billboard Awards Winning producer Andrew Lane has teamed up with MP3 Music Awards to offer US Demo Recording contracts to the 2012 BUA Award Winner - Best Unsigned Act. Andrew is also a consultant for "Americas Got Talent".
