Much of the inspiration that helps Zahir paint is due to his background. Born in Morocco, Zafir quickly realized that he felt artistically stifled in his home country. After finishing school at a very prestigious school in Rabat, he quickly moved to Berlin, where he did the best that he could to stretch his imagination to its limits. Connecting with other Moroccan artists, as well as learning from others in the global art community, Zahir was able to perfect his artistic voice and make every painting a celebration of freedom.

With the warm reception that his paintings have received so far, it's easy for many art fans to see why Zahir is expected to become one of the most well-known abstract artists in Berlin.
