With the mission to unfold the mystery surrounding vanished ships & airplanes in this area, he began his research on the subject a year ago.

On the basis of his research so far, Harry Coumnas concludes that the reason behind a number of unexplained disappearances of ships and airplanes in the Bermuda Triangle is not any mysterious force, but the large fields of methane hydrates in the region. The presence of methane hydrates is an indication of enormous eruptions of methane bubbles, which not only can swamp ships, but also flying airplanes.

According to Harry Coumnas, any object caught within a methane mega bubble immediately loses its buoyancy & sinks right to the bottom of the ocean. In case the bubble is too big and possesses a high density, it can knock an aircraft or ship without any warning.
