Harry Coumnas is a wildlife conservation enforcement officer, who loves everything about nature, wildlife, and adventure. In the quest for wildlife adventure, he recently visited Ilha da Queimada Grande, which is widely popular as the Snake Island. It’s a 430,000 sq.mt island situated around 33km off the coast of Sao, Paulo, Brazil. This beautiful island is known for having some of the most poisonous snakes in the world. What is more interesting, or perhaps more terrifying is the fact that you’ll find 1 snake every 75 sq.mt on the island.
According to Harry Coumnas, the biggest reason for his visit to Ilha da Queimada Grande is his love for wildlife, particularly snakes. He has five snake pets at home, which he has named as Billy, Jelly, Tiny, Misa, and Corb. Harry describes his trip to the Snake Island as amazing and says it was worth the time and money he spent on it. (Harry was accompanied by two experienced snake experts who understand the language of snakes and can communicate with them).
